Pace
Full, social and island-led
This is Thailand at its most alive: beaches, island roads, street-food walks, limestone bays, hot springs, jungle viewpoints, fire shows, beach clubs and a New Year’s Eve that does not belong indoors.
Phuket starts big. Sea air, Patong energy, Christmas Eve by the beach and the first few conversations that decide the tone of the trip.
Then the pace shifts. Old Town, street food, Phang Nga Bay, sea-canoeing through limestone hongs and an optional night of theatre if the group wants something stranger and more local.
Krabi brings the road-trip part of Thailand: Sunday markets, hot springs, emerald pools, forest trails and temples.
Then comes Samui. Softer, slower, sunnier. A beach hotel, Jungle Club views, optional Muay Thai or beach parties, waterfalls, massages, fire shows at Fisherman’s Village and enough free time to actually feel like you are on an island.
And finally, New Year’s Eve: a private speedboat out to Koh Phangan.
Nine days from Christmas Eve to the first morning of the new year. A tropical year-end escape built around movement, mood and people you’ll actually want to remember.
Trip highlights
Day by day
Nine days from Christmas Eve in Phuket to the first morning of the new year, laid out day by day.
Days 1–9
Phuket
Arrive in Phuket, check in at Patong Lodge Hotel and settle into the island slowly.
The first day is deliberately easy: lunch near the hotel, time to freshen up and then an evening built around the beach. Sunset, music, Christmas Eve energy and the first proper group night out.
Later, we head into Patong for dinner and optional free time around Bangla Road.
Core Experiences
Optional
Phuket
The morning is flexible. Depending on the group’s mood, you can choose from a few optional experiences: Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, a Muay Thai session, Chinese shrines and Khao Rang Hill, an elephant habitat visit or a private morning ceremony at Chalong Temple.
Late morning onwards, we move into Phuket Old Town for lunch and a guided or self-led street-food walking experience. The day ends with Christmas dinner.
Core Experiences
Add-ons
Phuket
Today belongs on the water.
We head out for a full-day Phang Nga Bay sea-canoeing experience through limestone cliffs, caves and hidden hongs. It is one of the most dramatic landscapes in southern Thailand and a very good reason to leave the beach for a day.
After returning, there is time to freshen up before dinner. For those who want something different in the evening, Junkyard Theater is available as an optional plan.
Core Experiences
Add-ons
Phuket → Krabi
After breakfast, we leave Phuket by private van and drive to Krabi.
Once checked in, the day stays relaxed: lunch, a possible ATV ride or urban forest walkway, and some downtime at the hotel.
In the evening, we head to Krabi Walking Street for the Sunday market. This is the kind of dinner where grazing is the plan: stalls, snacks, local food and no need to sit in one place for too long.
Core Experiences
Add-ons
Optional
Krabi
This is Krabi beyond the beach.
We spend the day around hot springs, Emerald Pool, Thai local lunch, Tiger Cave Temple and nature trails. Expect a full day, warm water, forest roads, viewpoints and enough movement to make dinner feel earned.
Core Experiences
Krabi → Koh Samui
We start early and travel from Krabi to Koh Samui by ferry.
After reaching Samui, we check in at a Chaweng beachfront hotel and ease into the island with an afternoon at Jungle Club. Open views, drinks, food and the sense that the trip has entered its slower, sunnier chapter.
At night, you can keep it easy or choose between a Muay Thai stadium fight and a beach party at ARKbar.
Core Experiences
Optional
Koh Samui
Today can go two ways.
If you want the active version, choose the half-day island tour with Na Muang Waterfalls, elephant conservation, Secret Buddha Garden, Wat Teepangkorn, a mountain jungle restaurant and a 4x4 jungle ride. If you want the water version, choose Ang Thong National Marine Park with kayaking, snorkelling and lunch.
The afternoon stays open for pool time, beach time, Thai massage or spa. By evening, we head to Fisherman’s Village for Bo Phut Beach, market stalls, Coco Tam’s fire show and dinner.
Core Experiences
Optional
Koh Samui → Koh Phangan
The day starts slowly: breakfast, beach relaxation and time to do very little.
By late afternoon, we take a private speedboat charter to Koh Phangan.
This is the final night of the year, so the plan is simple: arrive on the island, follow the energy and step into New Year’s Eve the way Thailand does it best, outside, by the water, with music, people and no ceiling above you.
Core Experiences
Departure
Breakfast, slow goodbyes and the first morning of the new year.
Depending on final flight and ferry plans, the day stays light and logistical. No one needs a heavy itinerary after New Year’s Eve.
Core Experiences
An outline, not a schedule. Days shift with weather, ferries and the group.

Because it runs during Christmas and New Year’s, Thailand’s most expensive travel window.
The trip includes Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve experiences, plus four destinations: Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. That means multiple stays, private transfers, ferries, island-hopping logistics, curated day trips and a private speedboat plan for NYE are already built in.
This is for people who want the most important week of the year to feel effortless, full and worth remembering.
